Design

2. DESIGN/PROPOSAL/DECISION – Based on your vision, as clarified in STEP 1, your own Gibbons Aquaria Project Manager will begin the detailed design for the entire project, coordinated with all the relevant parties (client, architect, interior designer, general contractor, plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc.). This will be based on the following key ingredients:

KEY INGREDIENTS FOR DESIGNING A SUCCESSFUL INSTALLATION

Prevention * and proper planning is the key to a healthy aquarium
Consistency * of systems, procedures and the life-support systems means healthy marine animals. Gibbons Aquaria is replicating the same conditions experienced in the wild – on the reef. One of things that makes a reef’s ecosystem so diverse and productive is that all of their life support needs are met on a consistent basis. design and maintenance process is planned with this in mind – uninterrupted stability.
Minimizing Stress * produces marine animals better able to handle minor environmental changes.
Compatibility * among the marine animals ensures less stress and friction between non-compatible species
Quality Maintenance & Constant Monitoring * ensures the ecosystem remains healthy and vibrant
Application of Design * will be coordinated with all of the relevant parties (client, architect, interior designer, general contractor, plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc.) to ensure frequent communication and proper installation.
Timing * of the different steps of the build phase will also be coordinated with all of the relevant parties to make each step as smooth as possible for all those involved.
